Does anyone know if a fender (warmoth) jazz neck will fit on a MV Pedulla body with no issues?

Very very doubtful. Which pedulla model?

The folks over at Pedulla are right up there with the most upstanding manufacturers I've ever dealt with ... if you need a new neck you should just call them ...

I saw a MVP Pedulla body on the bay for cheap, and I have a fretless warmoth neck coming, so I'm still debating on putting the neck on my 1975 jazz or finding a body and making a new bass. Just thought this pedulla body would be unique if it fit.

I'm 99% sure MVPs are neck through only. So did they hacksaw the neck off or what?

Seeing as how Pedulla MVP's are neck-through body, probably not.

I have an MVP 4, and they (Pedulla, that is) indeed do not make bolt on MVPs. The Thunderbolt is a bolt on, as is the Rapture, but not the MVP. What you have here is someone trying to rip you off. Even the bodystyle is not correct. Run, do not walk, away from this if you're trying to get that Pedulla tone and vibe. You'd do better to buy a real one.

I've attached a pic of my Pedulla for your reference. Best of luck, bro.

didn't they used to make a series II bass back in the day that was a bolt-on? it kinda' looked like an mvp but was only in solid colors, black hardware, bart pj pickups... the guys got over 100 positive feedbacks, so i doubt it's a purposeful fake... as for if a warmoth fender-esque neck will fit, i don't know but i doubt it'll fit without some work. :bassist:

they did make a series II at one point. even so, that body shape doesn't match the series II. good eye, though.

Nope, I am sure that matches the series II body. Go to www.toupe.co.uk and look under 'the burger bass' and there is a pic of my friend Grant's series II.

Definitely not. The horns are wrong and the body is a bit too bulbous to be a freeway.

    Chris,

You may be right. It may be a Series II Pedulla. The knob placement is dead on. I may stand corrected.
