MXR Auto Q...more envelope filters, woohoo!!

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Mad Subwoofer, Jan 7, 2002.

  1. Anyone tried one of these yet? Could be cool...that "auto level sensing" thing-a-ma-jigger sounds like tone sucking BS too me tho'...
    Opinions?

  2. It looks cool :D

...But MXR has a reputation for making good quality effects, like their bass octave and phasors are praised for tone and ease of application. But it looks pretty micky mouse to me. Next time I get the chance to try one out I'll put up my thoughts.

Thinking of building one of these, any opinions?

  5. Yeah, i saw that thread in my search, but the samples where down...

The tone sucking won't be a problem since i'll have one built with true bypass. Just looking into it as a nice envelope filter.

I'll put the sample back up if I can find it when I get home.
