wow...looks like they took a couple of blog posts down (2005 and 2006 are missing)...but yeh, looks like they had a prototype at Bass Player Live and will have something at NAMM next month...

Ooh, and it looks like it has a row of LEDs for metering. That would be very cool, not many pedals have good metering.

if its as good as it looks im gunna have to invest :p not in disperate need for a compressor as ive got an orange crush 50 amp which compresses abit, but wouldnt hurt to have abit more :p anythings gotta be better than the behringer bass limiter i took it off my board once i got my orange

What he's saying is he already had that page loaded in a different browser, so it was still there even though they have now taken down the post. IOW it wouldn't matter what browser you used now--he just happened to still have that page open from before.

This M81 definitely could be a winner....

    "Studio Quality Compressor"
    Separate Attack/Release controls
    In/Out Gain
The (what looks to be) Switched Comp. Ratio
    "Constant Headroom Technology"
    True Bypass
    And Metering

    Looks righteous

Just found out it will indeed be at NAMM, and should be shipping 6 weeks after. It's actually now called the M87.

    Can't wait.

They eliminated the 4 knob AC powered compressor though; too bad I really like mine but also like the idea of a decent pedal compressor with good metering
