    yeah I wana know too!!!!
    how does it compare to the tech 21 bass di?
    Gate, separate distortion channel, and three instead of 2 band eq all seem to be great improvements to its predicessor but, how does it really compare? is it transparent?

    By the looks of the MXR Bass Driver DI, their using micro components w/mini pots (lot's o' them) and them there pots are awful close to the bypass switch. One wrong heavy stomp and it could be "live on-stage-crisis time" if you accidentally touch a pot with your shoe on that tiny box.

    I think I'll bump this one up, I'm really curious about it. And the GK Diesel-Dawg, for that matter. Has anyone tried it?

    I have been looking at these MXR Bass DIs in catalogs lately. They are cheaper than the Sans Amp Bass DI but how does its sound compare. I am going to get one pretty soon but still unsure if i should save some money and go with the MXR or if it would be wiser to use a couple more dollars on the Sans Amp.

    Robert Trujillo endorses them now, and BP really liked the tone and features (yeah, I know they usually do stay on the positive side, but they REALLY seemed to like this one.) I think it is worth checking out, unfortunately the GC here doesn't have one.
