Has anyone tried MXR's Brown Acid Fuzz pedal? There are a multitude of fuzz pedals, as we all know, but this one has really caught my attention based on a few vids on youtube and reviews from various sources.
ThanksI picked one up a while ago. Its awesome. Super sustainy...if that's a word. A bit scooped but thats the sound it does. Like a more open big muff....
Thanks, ordered one from American Musical Supply yesterday.I also Just got one and it is a very versatile Fuzz. I have and had many different fuzz Pedals and this one is a keeper. It does not lose the low end and does not sound like a swarm of angry bees. It is a deeper less abrasive sounding fuzz. You can turn the tone way up and make it more aggressive sounding but it still keeps most of the lows. If you listen to the Local H song bound for the floor Where the fuzz kicks in that is sort of the sound area of this fuzz
Welcome to the club!I just picked one up from Reverb and plugged it in today. I was in love within 10 seconds! I'll echo what everyone said above! From what I understand, this is a limited run pedal.....I would suggest to anyone who uses fuzz in their Chan to give this a ride. The other guys in the band definitely approved. It's a keeper! My MXR Bass Fuzz Delux is off the board.
Gotta try that todayI snagged one after reading this thread and I'm really enjoying it. Tremendous low end. I've also found it responds really well to voltage sag.
