Anybody used this pedal for both the distortion and D.I, opinions?

    Hi Mike,

I indeed use this pearl in my setup.

It was purchased to "boost" my Fender Jazz Bass '62 RI (CIJ), and it does that very well.

Our main Sound Guy, likes the ease of doing the D.I. direct from this bix, instead of adding an extra D.I. box to the stage.

The unit sounds great and I like the Overdrive/Dist. channel.

    Do you have any concerns?

No. Im thinkin of buying one upgrade from my Boss Overdrive pedal. I imagine that it is much much better than this?

I find with the distortion pedals I have used that I loose alot of punch and defenition in the sound.

I've previously owned the Boss ODB-3 Bass Overdrive.
It's a piece of useless metal in my oppion.

I much better like the OD/Dist in the MXR M80 D.I+

Well, I own and use one and love it. I use it primarily for it's distortion, but the pedal is exremely versatile. If you do a search, you will find many other comments.
