I have searched and saw a similar thread to my question, but I wanted to see if I could get a concrete answer.

I'm trying to get the most out of what I have, or plan to get. Is it possible to hook up a MXR M80 via DI to my mixer and listen to it through the headphones and get a decent sound to use as a headphone amp? I haven't gotten the MXR yet, but wanted to see how that works for anyone that's done it, or with something similar(ie BDDI, etc).

    Thanks...

  2. That should work just fine. If you already have a mixer with a headphone out you can just try plugging in your bass in to one of the 1/4" inputs and see, it should work as well.

I got the MXR M-80 today and it sounds pretty nice through my little Behringer mixer. Not a bad solution...
