    Hi,
I currently have an MXR M82 Bass Envelope Filter, which I love.
However, I was reading a lot about the Cry Baby 105q and that actually seems to be more of what I want regarding EQ control.
Unfortunately I am not in a position to go and test one.
So I was wondering if anyone had owned both and could give a comparison.
    Cheers

I had a 105Q for about a year and recently got the M82. Both are great pedals IMO, well-made and providing quality tone. Might even be safe to say that they're probably among the best in their respective price ranges. Choosing between them is totally a matter of personal taste, again IMO.

I had a bit of fun with the 105Q but after a while got tired of rocking a pedal still without quite getting the sound I wanted. The M82 is turning out to be a GAS killer. After tweaking it for about a week, I finally found last night the sound I'm searching for. It also works really well with my set-up and my playing (the effect is used more as seasoning than main course, for now). I just click on it and its anchors away. I loooooove its analog tone.

    :)
