Are there any JohnK mods that would be worth doing to this pedal for an upcharge?

(I scrolled thru your OD review pages to see if you had modded an original or built a clone and didn't see a M85 there, but I might have missed it, I was scrolling fast).

not that i'm aware of. i think that it sounds really good the way that it's designed.

.........and, IMO, as inexpensive as it is, it's not really worth it to make a clone of it, especially when the execution of the original is so nice.

Does this do mostly clean with just a touch of OD? I would think with the blend controls it would. I am really having a hard time finding a distortion that I like, can't deal with the low end loss of most distortion pedals.
