  1. I just "customised" my '06 60th Anniversary MIA P Bass...

  2. Very cool. You'll probably take the pickup cover off, though. Unless you play by the neck all the time. Looks nice though.

  3. Very nice, now I want one.

    Yup.
I suggest the neck pickup cover be removed.

I like it. Not a big fan of sunburst w/white, but the tort sets it off nicely. Also, the pup cover looks cool, but seriously in the way. Rock it.

  6. Luckily, I play close to the bridge so it serves me well as a thumb rest!

I have never, ever liked sunburst with a white guard. A tort guard with rosewood is my favorite! Its amazing what just a simple pickguard change can do. Keep it for sure. I love the looks of the covers, but the pickup one just gets in my way so I go without.

Very shiny. As long as you like, it's your bass. Sunburst and tort is a must IMO. I personally am not a fan of covers, but that's just me.

Love the tort pickguard! White pickguards on three tone burst/rosewood makes a P bass look like a Series 10 to me. I don't care for covers on modern Fenders -- only vintage and reissue ones.
