    Stuck on a rock !
Oooh the waiting is over, its here at last...

I thought it was going to be another week before it arrived, but my mate played a blinder and got it on a plane for me tonight.

First impression were that it was a fake and not a '75 at all as the condition is that good, hardly a mark on it etc. Had to change the strings though so I took the neck off whilst I had the chance and gave it a good look over before finally being convinced.

Its even got the ashtrays, but the foam in the bridge one has been removed (but not for much longer)

So what does it sound like ? simple - like every other fender jazz you've ever heard, except its mine.

This weekend the Gecko stays at home, I'm taking my Jazz out to play !
  2. QUESTION, when you take the neck off your jazz, how do you get it back together strait. do you need special equipment or tools? also when you bolt it back on, do the fasteners have a torque spec or no? thanks

I've never used a tool, I just sight the neck. IME if it looks straight, it's straight enough;)

As far as torque, I turn mine til they squeaked and stopped :D
