    :help:

Ok, so,One day during band practice my amp just stoped working, so i took it apart and found that i had blown a fuse. So , naturally, i took it out , went to a hardware store and bought an identical fuse to replace it. However, now when i ever i put a new fuses it, i blows as soon as i turn on the power. This has left me bass ampless, and is forcing me to play through a guitar amp, which sucks , a lot.

    any help would be great

Blowing fuses is the amps way of telling you "Take me to a repairman, please!" Listen to what it is saying.

Only if you don't need it for 6 months. Ask around for a good local technician.

Ok , thats what i would have prefered ( the local tech).

as far as i know however, there are no bass amp tech where i live, but im sure there are a few electricans, should i just give them a call?

Only if you want your house rewired. Try the yellow pages under electronics repair, also ask at the local Radio Shack, they may have business cards from local technicians.

Stop using that guitar amp unless you want 2 blown amps.

Ampeg has a real good warranty...take it to an "authorized" tech..
