hi everyone. you should all check out my band, formerly known as "known for nothing." our bassist moved away, so i'm playing bass on all recordings since i'm way more of a bassist than anything else I play. our website is "http://knownfornothing.iscool.net". to get to page 2, click on any text on the 1st page, and there's audio on the 2nd page. the song on there isn't at all what we usually do, it's more of a joke/experiment.

I don't want to fight about it... That's not what this website is for. I just didn't like the rude comment. As for writing good songs, that is a very good song, just not one to be taken seriously. No, it doesn't have guitars. No, it doesn't have more than one looping drum beat. But in it's sparseness, it's a very fun song to listen to and play. Plus, we wrote and recorded it in 45 minutes, as opposed to spending hours in a fancy, expensive studio. And there's a lot more going on in the song than what you hear musically. The lyrics are catchy, funny, and metaphorical. If you want a song that's "musical" and not a mockery of country music and country "culture", then I'll give you 20 of those.

P.S. It's only two minutes long!

  6. ok, you two, take it to PM if you want to argue. any further back-and-forth here will be deleted. fatfunker, if you want to link to an mp3, make a seperate thread and don't steal phunky's thunder.
