    Post some sound clips, plz!

    So, it's a 51 P shape, but it has J pickups? Does it sound like a J?

    Hey my twin brother! Cool stuff James..

    Sean, they are jazz PPU's...I got the Marcus tone with mine! You can get whatever PPU's. Chris can build it for you.

    it's linked at the top of the 'basses' page.

    Hopefully I'll post clips later... it's mostly a J bass in a P suit. The neck pickup soloed is very P like thou (I'm sure the flats help)

    Keep in mind that I stopped slapping in 1995 cause I suck :eek: and that this bass has flatwounds :bag:

    2 mb MP3 file

    slap = both pickups
    chords = bridge soloed
    solo at end = neck soloed

    hi & mids @ center notch bass just shy of full. played thru my Ashdown Mag 200 with a mostly flat eq (mid out slightly). 1/4 inch line out into 1/4 to 1/8 adapter then to the line in of my sound card. Recorded in Cakewalk, drums are "drag & drop drummer"

    NO GEETARS HERE ;) just 3 bass tracks one take each + the drums
