And I opened the box from my wife. All it had was some new underwear. I was thinking....Is this it? Then she walks down the stairs carrying a brand spanking new Geedy Lee Jazz that I've been hinting about for the past few months!

It didn't come with any "paper work" like the basses I've gotten locally. ie: warranty cards, spec sheets, certificate of authenticity, et al.. Does anyone know if Fender supplied such propaganda with the GL? Just curious cause I've heard some rumors about the necks going bad on them.

Awww, you lucky dog. I wish I had a Geddy! I'm saving up for one to split with the folks as a Christmas gift, but that's so far away!

  10. No paper work at all?

I've bought from MF about 6 times, and everything came with warranty cards, spec sheets, etc.

I haven't bought anything made by Fender, though.

Is Fender known for doing this?

Call MF up and let them know that you need the registration card, manual, blah, blah, blah... they can get it too you...

The manual for the GL is the same as all the other guitars and basses that Fender puts out, but you might be able to get the registration for the GL online...
