This is very much a work in progress, but I thought I'd post it, anyway.

    http://www.mindspring.com/~jshew2/Bongo5.htm

It's got some pics of my fretted Bongo, and some different sound samples of it through my Fishman EQ, GK 1001, and Phil Jones Briefcase.

It even has a 9 MB song from the Bongo's first gig back in March.

    Enjoy! :bag:

  2. Heuy I like alot, keep up the good work!
    Thanks

    Thanks for listening! :bassist:

  4. Geez, you are a ripping player, yo.

  5. LOL!!

That last "goofy" cut gave me a mental picture (and may God strike me dead for this) of you in your altogether with the Bongo and the PJ in the tub together. That's gotta be how it would sound!

For some reason the first 2 clips and the full band cut won't get loud enough on my system. The other ones were fine.

Thanks, FunkyC--coming from the master of metal himself, that means alot! :bassist:

Although, I have to tell you--I think my Curbow 8 string headstock would win in a cage match with anything you've got. :hyper: :ninja:

:eyebrow: Actually, when I take a bath with my Bongo and the PJB, it sounds surprisingly different. Err.....perhaps I've said too much. :help: ;)

As for the volume difference, I don't know what to tell ya. They have a little bit lower output than the rest of the tracks, but I don't have any problem with my system hearing everything fine without adjusting any settings.

  11. But I liked it - as usual...

[mentally envisions own hands as simply stumps of human goo]

    ...sorry to sound so critical.

Very nice. I particularly liked the ensemble track.

And I love pictures of Bongos! Their shape - the angles, proportions - a favorite of mine.

By the way, is there a guy hollering at 7:50? Fun.

  13. Nice page, man. The Bongo is deadly.
By the way, folks, the band in those ensemble tracks is excellent live. I expect to see more Atlanta TBers at the next Jabla gig! :ninja:

Thanks! There will be more pics when my new fretless Bongo arrives. I think there will be many duet shots forthcoming. I'm a big fan of their looks, too...

There probably is someone in the crowd yelling in appreciation to Jake's guitar solo.

I'm not much of a slapper, but I'll see what I can do.
