My CT copy

    My dream bass has finally been finished!

    It is a copy of my favorite CT body shape, but certainly has some personal touch as well. It was done by SGA - a Hungarian fledgeling luthier, who also happens to play guitar/stick/etc. As I have promised him to ask for your opinions, comments and suggestions are welcome!

  2. Seriously cool! I dig the body shape and that scrolled horn looks excellently done! Looks like you've got yourself a great bass there! I hope it sounds as good as it looks!

    I just don't understand why custom basses like this are bolt-ons. The body even looks like a neck-through

    maybe he asked for bolt on? maybe he prefers bolt on? personal preference...there is no "better"

    btw: really nice bass. the "other" one, not so much, with that lower body sculpt from different wood.

    Thanks for the replies! Yes, I like bolt-on pretty much.

    I have never met the owner, but I guess it was done on personal preference. Here is a close-up of it:
