I have an Demeter 201dbl preamp that recently died. After about two hours of playing the preamp cut out, I checked the fuse and it had blown, so I replaced it and it blew also. I whipped the lid off to check the internals and all semed fine so I tried once more with a new fuse but no joy, any ideas as to whats gone wrong?

    It's an 230v model into a vthf-300m and boogie cab @4 ohms.

The only thing you can do at this point is get a bunch of fuses and replace each tube, one by one. If it's a bad tube, when you swap it out the fuse will stop blowing.

If that doesn't fix to the repair shop.

    Good luck.

I would contact Demeter by phone. They've always been willing to answer any questions. Keep in mind this NAMM season so they could be hard to reach this week.
