  1. Hi!

I ever posted a thread to announce that I ordered my F Bass BN in July! :D

This time I just chose my top, It has been a hard choice, but the result will be terrific for me!
A burl maple top, probably with a natural lacquered finish!

    Look at it!
If you want to see a larger one, ask me I can mail it to you!
Because I don't know how to post it directly next to the text!

    Just give me your toughts
  2. That's awesome man. Gorgeous piece of wood. My instructor has an F Bass BN5, and it's one of the most gorgeous things I have ever seen. Super cool

  3. Thanks a lot! :smug:

Excellent piece of wood!! It's gonna be gorgeous.

Hey, ya know, if you turn it right side up, the figuring in the center looks like a skinny lion's head.....

Awesome. That's gonna be gorgeous. My Fretless is probably the best bass I have ever bought. Most expensive too though...

    Welcom to the Fbass club.

Here's a pic of you new basses second cousin twice removed:

Good luck with the bass; I'm sure it will be fantastic. This bass just showed up last week - and I can't say enough good things about it. George really is a master luthier.
  19. I saw it on www.thegrooveshoppe.com!
This ambrosia top BN5 is tunning, I decided first to put the matching heel, but I delete it!
If I can see the 3 piece flame maple neck at the heel, it's not a problem for me.....

Hey Vince, I think the standard Dark African wood knobs will be outstanding against your natural finished top. But, Matching Burl Maple knobs would be very cool too. Have you decided yet?

One other option that I have on my F Bass BN5 that is very user friendly is the Pick-up "Blend" knob instead of two Volume controls (one Volume knob for each Pick up) Have you given any consideration to that issue? - Gary
