I haven't seen it yet to be able to verify this, nor have I talked to the tech who worked on it. But, apparently, it wasn't even a bad switch, as originally thought.

According to the receptionist at the repair shop, the tech wrote on the ticket that there were some loose wires and some bad solder joints. The shop charged me the bare minimum for fixing it ($48), which included no parts (because none were necessary), and I can pick it up any time!

Oh...and now I feel comfortable jumping back on the bandwagon about how everyone should own an EBS amp!:D

Good thing it wasn't any thing major.

I just brought it home, plugged it in, and voila!:D

The repair shop told me when I brought it in they wouldn't even get it on to their bench until at least Friday. Turns out, I'm actually playing through it on Wednesday.

How 'bout that for service?:D I'll even give 'em a plug, just for doing such great work...Mid-Town Instrument Rental and Repair, 4104 N. Elston, Chicago. REALLY nice people, quick service, delivery with a smile.

And, I got my Fafner back:D
