Well, it's time. I'll be flying out to LA this Saturday to begin recording THE album, finally! I'll be out there until November 28th. I'd like to hook up with some of the left coast members while I'm out there, and perhaps a chance to steal licks! We'll being staying in the apartments in Oakwood, and recording at Paramount Studios. I'll try to check in from time to time. Paul, I'm leaving you in charge. Keep an eye on SuperDuck, I've got a bad feeling about him! :D

vegaas: Matt Serletic, who's now the pres. of Virgin, heard about us through a college radio station, and asked for a copy of our CD, then he and his staff flew to Atlanta to see us live.

Wow, that had to make you feel good! A big wig at major label hears you and comes out to see you. You are doing something right!

Nice one, Woodchuck! Hope it all goes well for you. Let us know how you get on.

You couldn't put a word in for us to Matt Serletic, could you? With a big advance from a major record company I could buy many, many Warwicks, which I would of course be happy to share with anyone who helps me obtain them... :D
  10. Good luck, and have fun!

Don't believe him, folks. Whenver he says he's "going to the studio", it's code for "laying low for a few days due to law enforcement surveillance". The last time he was "recording", he showed up at my house with a duffle bag and lived in my basement for two months.

EDIT: Post 1982! The year I was born!

Excellent news man! Have fun, and we expect a full report when you're done!

Hey, you got any time off the weekend of the 4-7th? How far is Cabo from El-Lay??? :D
  15. LA, huh?
    I'm pretty much downtown...

    Either way, good luck! :)

  18. Aha! Good news. The best of luck to ya, Mr. Wood.

You are going to give some FREE copies of your CD out to your best buddys at TB, aren't you? :D
