My first bass upgrade!

    Ok, it wouldn't be that significant for everyone here, but I'm excited! I traded in my Ibanez Soundgear for a MIM Fender Jazz. I like the feel and sound a lot better than the SG.

    It was my second time buying a bass...

    ...I asked the sales guy who was helping me out if I could keep the strings on my old bass (since they were fairly new, and I liked them), and a guy came up and said it wouldn't be possible, and it would cost me an additional $30 to keep my old strings! It was worth a shot, though, as soon as that guy left, the gentleman helping me picked out some strings comparable to those on the Ibanez (Fender stainless flats) and gave them to me! What a pleasant surprise!

    Anyway, just thought I'd share my joy...

  3. I want a MIA Fender Jazz V...but I also want a Conklin GT7...and a MM Stingray 5...and an electric guitar...WHY MUST THERE BE SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM?!?! :bawl:

    Nice job man, i loves me J's. way better than an ibanez SR.
