My first ever 'new bass' thread!

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Lord Henry, May 1, 2006.

  1. So here it is, I got back with it a couple of hours ago.

It's a MusicMan Sub V active. Rosewood fingerboard, maple neck, poplar body, black finish. I played a few basses and this one just jumped out at me. The bass centre did me the bass and case for £700. I love it to bits.

I do have photos but for some reason TB doesn't like my 10 year old Mac and so won't allow attachments (wonder why?).

Well then, it just doesn't exist now does it?

Congrats! From reading your previous thread, it sounds like you found a bass that really does it for you! That's what it's all about. Enjoy!
  3. Well, if anyone can give me another way to post pictures (free) then let me know. Also, does anyone know what strings come on this model? The MusicMan website doesn't say.

    Good choice!
You will want to keep that bass for years!

  6. Thanks for the tip. Here are the pics. Sorry they're not great quality. They had to be taken in a rush as it meant putting the bass down, and I really didn't want to do that today.
