Thats awesome. You should get a tort guard for the fretted 44-94 as well. Laklands are great basses!

thats the sweetest Lakland ive seen yet. real nice. i agree get a tort guard for the other so there clones :hyper:
  5. HEY! Both your basses has an extra 3-way switch and I'm guessing its for the mid-frequency. I wanna have that on my Lakland too. :hyper: Can I just send it to a luthier to do it or are there any special directions?

    Thanks! :D

Adrian, Lyle: I like the tort guard on the fretted (I've tried it already) but I'm fond of the natural ash / black guard / maple neck instruments...maybe being a Bruce Springsteen fan for so many years has something to do with it.

Tortoise: I got the switches factory installed, but a good luthier can do it without any problems. You can find schematics on bartolini.net.
