I think 10 is my record for any brand of Basses at one time. I feel I’ll be breaking my own record soon.

I've played an SB-2 and L2500 and hated both. A friend that I highly respect favors his G&L basses over some of his other boutique instruments. I've been looking at an LB-100 despite my bad experiences in the past. What is it that you who posted your collections like so much about G&L? I want to like them!

I'm probably the wrong one to answer since the sb2 is one of my favorites. I like that one in particular because of Jazz neck on super hot passive pbass-ish instrument--not pretty sounding but very functional sound when playing with others. To me, it's got one of the best bass body looks. In fact I like the look of many g&l basses better than nearest comparables, including the headstocks. The lb100 is the one I'd be least likely to get--it's just a pbass right? I'm guessing lots of g&l owners like to be a couple of steps off the main trail, but not lost in the swamp.

You're certainly qualified to answer :- ) I dig how they take chances with finishes and that they have more than two offerings that people like. I've been wondering lately if I'm not a passive electronics person. I've owned four P basses and have looked to get rid of each of them rather quickly, so maybe my G&L experiences aren't G&L related but more related to my taste.
