I play in a melodic hard rock band and I've been using my Ibanez GSR 200 for much too long. I knew I needed a new bass but was torn between a Musicman, Spector, and Warwick. Played a Warwick, liked the tone but it was extremely heavy. Then I saw this great looking bass and it was a Spector! Very light and the tone was much better than the Warwick. Once I plugged in and heard that tone I was hooked! Anyways it's a Rebop 4 w/ a nice tobacco sunburst finish with dual EMGs and abolone (sp?) frets. My gas is hopefully cured for a long time ! :bassist: three cheers for Spector! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Ok it's exactly like this one 'cept the color of mine is a lighter natural wood shade which fades into black.

Gas? Cured? HAW! Sometimes it goes into remission, but cured? Never.
  7. Meanwhile, don't come near me- I enjoy my gas, thank you; I don't want your so-called 'contentment' rubbing off on me.
Rebops are cool, though. I have a fretless 5 on consignment at Bassnw- gassin' for a fretless 6!
