    Esteemed colleagues,

    I seek your advice.

I have a Hartke head (3500?) and an Eden 4-10.

Recently, the head took a spill. It fell about 4.5 feet. The LED goes on, but the head will not produce signal.

Should I get it repaired? How much does that cost?

I am tempted to get a small combo, like maybe a Hartke, and sell my rig. But what do I do with a bad head?

what to do, what to do

if its under warranty DON"T TOUCH IT, take it straight to a repair shop. If its not under warranty, i suggest you take it apart and look for anything that's loose, or appears to be blown. Be careful because capacitors can still store charge when they're unplugged. I'm not sure how much the amp is worth, and whether or not it's worth getting it repaired.
goodluck... losing equipment sucks bad... i feel your pain

My Hartke 3500 took a similiar spill a couple years ago (5' from the stage to concrete :-(, but it didn't affect it at all! My guitarist's amp also took a dump in a separate incident, but $100 bucks worth of the guitar shop chasing down a loose solder joint fixed it. I say have it looked at, it might be just a broken solder joint.
