    Hi everyone,

Here is my latest bass made by myself:

    6 strings bass
    32 inches scale
    Walnut body core
    cherry topped with padouk wings
    Birdseye maple bolt-on neck
    Lacewood fingerboard
    Wilkinson open gear tuners
    no name trough body bridge
home made humbucker pickup in maple housing with neodium magnets
    volume, tone and serial/parallel switch
Pickup located about where it should be to look good (no science here...)

    Build time around 6 months...

  3. I like it- you've got some unusual things going on there; I'd also like to see lots more pics.

Nothing fancy there to be honest... the light colored line between the padouk and the walnut is what I think they call sapwood.

The two pieces are 1 inch cherry and 3/4 in padouk glues one over the other.

Maybe this picture will make you see what my french to english translator can't explain....
