    now we know where Giger got his idea for Alien.




    reminds me of what a weird/wonderful world we live in.

    Hey Fred, have you ever seen the book "Encyclopedia Anatomica"? They used to create life-size anatomical figures as well as individual parts in full color waxes. The book shows the collection of the Museo La Specola, and while it's extremely creepy sometimes (VERY realistic wax pieces), it's pretty interesting as well.

    They may not be sea creatures, but it shows the craziness that's within our own bodies.

    I took an intro entomology class and one of the big things they taught us was the incredible amount of bugs thats in our food without us realizing.
