A big batch of Low End Jazzes has nearly been pooped out and they're looking tasty. With a clear pickguard on trans/white, mine's hitting the "New York" vibe. I can't wait to get it! Lemme know what you think!

Have a gander at some of the other basses almost done under the Nov 3 and Nov 4 pics.

You'll see mine in the first few pics of "Nov 4". Thanks for looking!

    EDIT EDIT EDIT:

Updating this thread with some completion pics. Thanks for sending them Brian, looks awesome!

Thanks for posting the pic! A tort guard pic should be forthcoming, Chris is gonna make one up for me. We'll have fraternal twins. (Not exactly the same, but somewhat similar!)

Your 7-string looks great. I think I prefer the black guard with the rosewood fb and blocks, but the tort is nice too. I just realized that we both appear to have 1-piece ash bodies, I never realized it before! They're both really beautiful.

Looking forward to getting my mitts on one of your cabs sometime soon! I think the 1010 would be a rocking small upright bass cab.

  8. I honestly like both pick guards. May be Chris and Brian will send me both.....or I'll get the fretted with black and a fretless 7 with tortoise guard :D

The scary part about that little girl pic is that her fretting hand technique looks a heckuva lot better than some of our technique. Still that's too darned cute.

Oh, and freshly painted white Low End Jazz bodies= bass porn.

I just noticed that your bass is the only LowEnd I've seen which has 21 frets. Is there any reason? Even the rest of the 7-strings appear to be 20 fret basses. If it was 24 I'd figure you'd specified it...

  12. I have to ask Brian, but mine will have a 35" scale instead of the usual EJ 34" scale. Might have something to do with that.
May be Brian can shed som light???

Pasted the completion pics in the top post, but here is the link again. For James Hart there is a picture with tort guard but, personally, I think the clear guard is perfect for this bass. Thanks everybody for taking a gander! I'll update with some comments of the bass when she's here.

    Thanks Chris and Brian!
