After 20 + years of playing I have finally decided to jump into the
6 - string world. I just received an MTD 635 from Glenn at
Austin Bass Traders. It is simply amazing, and I couldn't be happier.

Glenn TOTALLY ROCKS. I got my 535 from him and couldn't be happier about it at all.

My guess is it's this one. Glenn usually leaves the pics up for a while and marks it sold. I'm assuming fretted, since he's apparently new to "the 6 string world", so I figure it's this one, even tho it's not marked sold yet:

    Maybe this 635?

Hey Vic, I don't know how you did the picture, but that is not the one. It is actually the 635 on the used page. It has a Maple Burl top, and Mahogany body. If you could get that picture, it would be really cool.

Thats the one :hyper: Thanks Mutantbassist. I am sad that I have to go to work, and stop playing it.

I owned that bass for a few days before I settled on a swamp ash 535, and I know exactly what you're experiencing right now; pure MTD bliss. It wasn't my sound, and I am not ready for a six string yet, but wow, what a beauty. Kudos to Glenn for being the ultimate in hooking up other bass players.
