I've recently given in to a rash of Gas ....and picked up these 2 5'ers !!! The 1st one from TB'er FC (thanks bro !!) Brubaker NBS1-5 : Bart j/j config ...Bart Pre...very smooth sounding, easy to play 5 . The next is a Lakland Custom 55-94 . I just got it several hours ago .... so I've just started playin' around with it. This one was on Ebay last week...but didnt reach reserve or the BIN. I made him an offer.....he didn't refuse !! Like I stated earlier.....I have to spend some time with the Lakland.......then I'll post a report !! Initially......the lakland is extremely light....I'd say around 7.5 lbs.....a pleasure to have hangin' off yur shoulder !!! The p/up config is bart j/mm ..so I'm psyched about that.... More later !!!!! Who says X-mas isn't around the corner ?? Peter
Those basses are gorgeous, man! Especially that Lakland... man, I'd like to get my hands on one of those, and the finish on it... damn... Congrats!
mmm.. nice.. is that a dolphin in the background??? and why don't you let me have one of those rigs? I promis i'll make good use of them
.....yeah,....it's a Dolphin Pro II (the bolt on) I was selling it (Ebay....) but it didnt get too much interest..... so I guess I'll keep it.....not gonna 'give' it away Stay low Peter
Haha, yeah that Dolphin in the background used to belong to me too! I think PJR is selling it right now, and since he's from New York, you can make him an offer he can't refuse.
...lol.....FC ....(my Cali-Bass connection) "You Talkin' to me ??" (in my R D voice) PJR MTD will be next on my list , for sure !!! Micheal the man ...lives right up the block from me!

Thanks......The room- it's the downstairs of my home....that I converted to a rehearsal space for my band. 2" wall treatment........by no means soundproofing, but helps to 'tame' the high frequencies a bit: read cymbal crashes !!! ....had major gigs last weekend.....so the rest of the band's stuff in the garage still... Back on Topic: The Lakland is super easy to play..., very light...hangs off your shoulder nicely... I think I'm gonna like this .... Yo Brad.....go ahead and 'horn' in.....lol...all's fair in Love, War and Buying basses !!! PJR
