Until recently I was were unhappy with my amp, a Peavey Basic 60, so I asked what I could do to improve it. Mostly I got the answer that I should by a new amp. Since I'm only a poor student I didn't think that would be possible. But... I took a longshot and sold my amp and an old bass I had for $300, because I had seen the Behringer Ultrabass BX1200 for $400 and figured I could afford that. But... I discovered an used EBS Taurus for sale for $500 so I consulted my mind (for about 0,5s) and my wallet... I decided I could live cheap for a month. So now I'm a happy owner of an EBS Taurus. What can I say about the sound? It requires minimal tweaking with the EQ to get a good sound. I'm as happy as a bassplayer kan be!!!
