Nice, they're great value at the prices they're changing hands at now.

Very nice! I had one a while back and the only thing I found to watch out for was heat, they don't like it. Mine shut down a couple of times at gigs before I added a second fan, so one was blowing cool air into the amp while the other was pulling the hot air out. No more problems after that. Actually, no other problems at all, very reliable.

Very nice amp! You enjoy that one, ya here! ;)

BTW - Seens that some TE guys will look at this.. What's the V8 usually go for over in the states when they pop up used?

    Cheers.

  8. What i want to know, is how you scored a V8 in Australia Popin' !! must have either been really expensive, or a really great score! :bassist: I have been looking everywhere for a Trace head.

...a V-8 is worth as much as someone is willing to spend...

    PS: Why the concern?

It's a shame as a lot of people really overlook the V-type hybrid heads. As you have found out, they are excellent heads. I bet it is loud and sweet. Rock on :bassist: Trace brother for now you are a part of Team Green! :p

I just replaced the pre-amp tubes with a pair of JJ 12ax7 tubes. The sound really improved IMO! I can get a much better overdrive out of the amp now :hyper:
