Just got a Cirrus 4 last week and after cleaning the music store grime off of it she now looks and sounds like a million$.Made of Bubinga w/Walnut Darn.....dunno how to include a pic!!
I wanna see! Post a pic like this: {IMG}URL of the picture{/IMG} But instead of the squigglies, use [ ]
OK.. just follow the instructions I gave, but instead of using { } around IMG and /IMG, use the brackets.. [ ].
Dave, I need photo help as well. I have scanned photos in bmp or jpg, how do they tie into your instructions? Do we have to use photopoint or what? I'm very anxious to share my 3 new basses (Roscoe, Lakland, Fbass) with everyone.
And we are anxious for you guys to share them! In order to post a pic, it has to be somewhere out on the world wide web. http://www.photopoint.com offers free pic hosting. You need to sign up for a membership there(or somewhere else that offers free hosting) and upload your pictures to them. Like Dave said, the format is {img}http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=994952&a=7315325&p=38245965{/img}, but use []square brackets around the img tag instead of {}squiggly brackets. Then you will get this:
My babies, yup, I'm another gold hardware pimp http://albums.photopoint.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=1465693&a=11022591&p=38343953 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=1465693&a=11022591&p=38343960 Help, I do I show them here?! [Edited by Thumper on 01-17-2001 at 04:43 PM]
Thanks Lv, hey, that's not gold hardware on that Cirrus is it? Since you are a quicker study than I am, how did you get your picture to show instead of just the link? I tried everything but could only get the little square with a red x in it. [Edited by Thumper on 01-18-2001 at 12:28 PM]
Looks like I've got the picture thing figured out. Thanks embellisher and Lv. Just to check, here's my Lakland.
Wow, Thumper! It's hard to pick a favorite, but that F Bass is AWESOME!!! Glad you got it figured out, now you can give us all GAS!
Thanks embellisher, wait'll I get a picture of my '66 Jazz as refinished by Michael Dolan! It's almost enough to get me started on 4 strings again BTW, the Roscoe is my favorite, hands down.
