My new bass is here!!!

    I know people love to pick on me here... I will have none of that because I'm in too good of a mood so I will report your message!

    My squier Mike Dirnt Pbass in black
    -Bought used
    -has QPs in it
    -the only things wrong is the fingerboard is really dirty and on the g string any note past the 13th fret gets muted by the frets below it (looks I cant go jimi hendrix for a while) but nothing a new pair of strings and proper setup cant fix!

    I'd keep the PG on, but that's just me. Those basses sound great, and you got it for a good price too (I saw the other thread on it).
    I'd watch out for the bridge though, I've had two Squier bridge saddles collapse on me and it sounds kind of like that's happened to your G string saddle.

    You want a BAII BUT get a gotoh 201 i have that and quarter punds and it kicks.

    That bass really looks good if it were mine.

    *I like BWB guards what can i say
    * Full size CTS pots and A switchcraft jack

    No need for anything else but i know your going to go a differnet direction haha


    Didn't you get it for like 200$? im jealous:)

    I have a BAII On my Jazz and it really changed the bass. It added tons of sustain and attack to the bass

    Maybe you should put another white star sticker over the hole?

    $163 actually! And I've heard the Gotoh 201 is way cheaper than the BA So I might get it!

    Wow zod I haven't see you in a while... I'm not at fender much any more, this is my new home! I have told I'm one of them :hyper: Even though I get picked on a lot here LOL


    And guys I'll post a new thread in about a week from now with sound clips of all three of the basses! :hyper:

    My first bass, the pbass deluxe ripoff... People forget I played bass 3yrs before getting the sterling.

    Oh and my squier strat is almost the some as the dirnt

    Black with white pg and rosewood LOL

    Brothers but one was born with to many strings and is too short! LOL
