My new bass is...

    A VMI Cruise. It's a Fender P copy, with a P+J setup, redwood neck, and rosewood fretboard and a black pickgaurd and body, circa '95. Not bad for a 150 bucks. I got it as bart of a deal, so I Got it for cheap. And I foudn out that I prefer the narrower fret spacing (radius?) of Ibanez, but the VMI (ergo Fender) is warmer feeling (bigger too...)

    Not bad for 150 bones, eh? It's worth like, 275-300 I think (it's what the guys told me...)

    Hi Brendan - Congrats on your new bass. Just as a point of information for you radius doesn't have anything to do with fret spacing. Radius is the degree of roundness or flatness of a fretboard. Example - a 12" radius is significantly "flatter" than a 9.5" radius.
