Shielding and proper grounding. IMO worth it if you have a single coil
how much did that cost to pinstripe it?
I knew someone so I didn't pay I'm not sure how much it would cost.
I like it! I would say new tuners and straplocks are the main next things. If you like the pickups sound just keep it for now.
With new tuners would I have to drill new holes or will the holes match up?
Nice bass man.
Welcome to the madhouse
Drill new holes. The post on broncos are crazy small, plus the covered box on the back is non standard
Very co, keep on kicking the bottom end out.
Very nice indeed. I'm sorry you've been infected with the Bronco modding virus. There is no cure.
That a standard Strat size pickup? If unhappy with the sound you could try Strat type pickups, like a Lace Sensor Blue or one of the many blade style pickups.
Steve - The striping is great. I also have a black/white Bronco - I will soon have a horse head design painted on the pick guard - I'll post pix when its done.
I replaced the stock knobs with black ones and its quite an improvement.
The only limitation on other mods is money. You can replace the single pup with one or 2 pups; add a preamp, change the bridge, the tuners, the strings.
There are at least 2 other TB threads on Bronco mods. Use the Search function.
What strings do have on yours?
The stock srings.
I'm probably going to put in a Seymour Duncan Basslines 1/4 pounder pup ($55), so I'll, wait t see how that sounds before I deal with any string change.
