bought this bass this week. fab sound and so easy to play. not too much neck dive, better than some I've played. roberts2. roberts3. roberts5.
  2. sweet dude, looks good. What brand is it?? gibson or something....?
i need to be getting my new bass soon....just need some more money, im hopefully getting the marcus miller jazz....
    how much was that bass?
  3. Nice T-Bird knock... I really dig the scorpion inlay, alot too! You mind giving us a bit more dtails about the bass, like model name, maufacturer, electronical stuff, etc etc??

  4. nice bass man, i've always liked the thunderbird look but i couldnt see myself spending 1700 bucks on the gibson one with all the horrid reviews i've heard for it. maybe a knockoff is what i'm lookg for.

    nice bass man.

It's called a Roberts Thebird, sold in UK by a company called rjs guitars. I bought this one from them via Ebay.
The neck is set, not thru, two Kent Armstrong soapbars, not sure what the bridge is, but it's v good quality. Seems to have a very wide range of tone, from deep bass to clangy treble. Will get a better idea after I've been playing it for a few weeks and it's settled down. Glad you all like it, I'm chuffed.
