That's a tease. Stand that pup up in a corner and shoot the whole thing. Lets see the shape of her, front back and sides.

    Looks cool.

  5. Sorry I'm really rubbish with cameras. I'll take some other pictures later when I can find my camera...
This is the shape (from the Kolstein website). Will take some other pictures later on.

Oh, when did you get that? Recently? I think I played it.

  7. Yep, I bought it about a week ago. I'm getting some set-up work done at Gage's over the next few weeks, and I'm picking it up after I get back from an orchestral fellowship in Europe that I'm leaving for later today...

  9. Thanks!
It sounds great, looks great, and is just an amazing bass in general (if I do say so myself!). I love it.

    I wasn't cheap either!

    Yikes!

  11. Well, I did get an extremely good deal on the price.

  12. If you bought it from Kolstein, why not have them do the set-up?

  13. I live in NYC so Gage is easier for me.

  14. I know you were'nt cheap honey.......
Beautiful bass Doc. Nice French polish.

What a sweet instrument. Thank you for sharing it. Hope that the fellowship is a ball on the new bass...:)

  16. Thanks, thanks! Wish I could have brought my new bass on the fellowship, but it's in Switzerland and I couldn't pay for the whole mess of shipping the bass right after dropping all that money on buying it! So now I am in Switz and borrowed a bass from someone in Geneva... it's not bad, but it's not like my new baby!
