My new "Cheapie" (Dean Edge 5)

    It's no Stingray, or Lakland. But for the $ spent I'm pretty happy. Fit and finish is darn near perfect. Somewhere down the road, I see some new PUPS, and a new bridge. For now I'm just groovin' getting back to a Fiver.

    I like it actually. I am a big fan of cherry burst finishes (much better than tobacco burst IMO). Hope it plays nice!

    It's a 35" scale so the B is pretty good.

    It's really not as red as the pic shows. They call it "Amberburst", not quite as dark as a tobacco burst. I've just about got the setup the way I like it, I'm digging it so far!

    String spacing is kinda tight for slappin, but I do very little of that anyway so it's all good.

    looks like that bass don't have EMG-HZ Pickups.. my Dean Edge 6 has EMG-HZs
