My new CIJ '62 reissue Precision!

  1. I just bought this beautiful instrument and I have to say that is the best P bass I have ever tried! It has an alder body, an american vintage reissue pickup, plays superb (no deadspots!) and is way cheaper than the USA reissue!

Here you can see it near my '98 Rickenbacker 4003 :)

  2. Awesome! How much did it cost ya, if i may ask? :bassist:

  3. Of course,
I bought it used (but flawless) for €500 ($500), but it came with a fender hardshell case!
Here in Italy the USA vintage reissue P-bass costs €1500!! Ouch!

Looks pretty tasty. What's the color/pickguard configuration? I'm assuming it's arctic/olympic white with a tortoise shell, but it's hard to tell in that light.

  5. It's vintage white (a sort of ivory) with a red-brown shell pickguard :)

  6. looks good. is the pickup in your bass the same 62 reissue pickup that you can buy seperately.
