I just snagged a new CB bass courtesy of Jimmy at Bunnybass...what a great guy Jimmy is!! I should have it Friday. I don't know how to put up a larger picture, so if someone here could go over to Bunnybass.com and throw up a few pics, that would be sweet!! It has:

    swamp ash body
    FLAMEY quartersawn neck
mesquite burl top (I don't know whether to play it or bar-b-que it!! ;) )
    rosewood board
Nordstrand Dual coils wired in series
Aguilar 3 band w/passive tone control
    Hipshot hardware

This is a bit of a departure for me, since I've ALWAYS been an alder/maple or alder/rosewood guy.

If/when pics go up....in the words of Jaco..."You dig??" :D

    It's a beaut.

But IMO it's too round and...cuddly for my liking. I'm sure it plays and sounds like a taste of heaven!

He makes some classy basses! Congrats!
  15. Great looking bass. I think you will love it. I snaped up the Chambered 6 string fretless bass Jimmy had on his site a while back. I purchased it without knowing who Cliff was, long story short its a GREAT bass. Jimmy was great to deal with, I would buy another bass from him in a heartbeat. :hyper:

Great bass! Cliff's got a great artistic sense, and his work seems to keep evolving.
