Hi, I'm back from seeing Primus up in Philly (awesome show :bassist: ) and the brown truck had delivered this bass. It's a custom done by a Hamer luthier (under the sage name I believe) and is from ebay. It has a flamed ash top w/ matching headstock, and walnut body w/ lane poor soapbar pickups and seymour duncan 3 band eq w/ slap switch. Sounds sweet and was an awesome deal :hyper: (Sorry for the lo-fi pics, best I can do)

After playing this bass for a few days now, I definately see what all the hype about lane poor is about  These are the best sounding soapbar pickups money can buy and it's really hard for me to appreciate other brand pickups now. The tone is even across the entire frequency spectrum while having a nice lively punch. The ash/walnut wood combo really seems to add a nice character as well.. . :bassist: :bassist: :bassist:
