Hello All, I thought I would share some pics of my new custom bass that is almost finished. The company building it for me is called Rob/Wave and they are out of Paducah, KY http://www.robwave.com . I already own one of their electric uprights but I am delighted to have them build me a custom electric. {} [/url] {}
Yeah, that was their idea. Also it does not have a tone knob. It has 2 volume knobs and a 3-way tone switch.
Basically what they have done is set the switch so it is very bright in one position, mid-rangy in another posotion and bassy in the third position. So it is basically 3 preset tone options. I have not tried it yet but I expect I will like it.
