I saw it the day before Darrin drove it up to BC. It's a sweetie, alright :)

EDIT: you might get more response on this in the "Basses" forum.

Very nice! I was actually watching the progress of that one on his site!

I love the stripes in the body...Very classy and elegant!

Very nice. But this does belong in "Basses," not "Ask A Pro! > Luthier's Corner."

Sort of like a Carl Thompson. And that's a good observation: Darrin was influenced by Mr. Thompson's designs.
  7. thats a butifull bass man!

and i can't help but mention it, but does anybody else notice the resemblance between bridge and facial hair?

There wasn't any semblance of an attack here. I think it was merely an observation. I've seen a lot worse on other threads.

Or, is that just your "canned" response? :)

I've got some warwick looking stuff???

Well, I'm not sure you needed to justify yourself and throw some names in. You have to be prepared to this kind of comments when you build a bass with a scroll or with a singlecut!!! Just let them flow.

    Peace, JP
  11. Exactly. People will say what they want, you just can't help that. Like the bass by the way, Especially the neat bridge. Definitely different.

Well there's the hold up. He hand delivers each bass. Air fare has to kill his bottom line.
