Here are the long awaited pictures of my new and beautiful Warwick Corvette 5-str. with ash body:
...and a closeup
Nice. Wenge neck? MEC pups? If so go with the Duncans, they sound noticeably better, imho.
Yes the neck is wenge and yes, I'm considering Seymours but I can ill afford them right now
hope u dont mind me askin but how much did that set u bak
Hehe, of course I don't mind. I got it for ~$1300(13.000 Swedish crowns)
I didn't think they did Corvettes in a natural body like that.
Very nice.. You got yourself a good bass there.. hope it settles your gass for awhile..
Oh man! That's the nicest Corvette I've ever seen. I'm a natural wood finish junkie, and that one would make a real nice fix.
man that looks sweet! I really like the grain on the horns, how they go out with the horns. Good looking bass.
Why did you go posting those pictures?
You made me roam the Warwick site and lust
after the Corvette Standards.
I thought Corvette = RockBass, but that's not the case. The Corvette Standard on their website
is 1199 Retail, and it's gorgeous. Plus, they apparently offer a few different scales.
I imagine the ash is much lighter than the bubinga mine was made out of. Would have probably have kept it if I would have had the chance to pick my woods.
Nice pics.... very purty bass!!
Please: replace that ugly nut!! I cannot see it!!!
What's wrong with the nut?
Thanks for all the nice comments, now the bass seems ever more worth my money
