It showed up late last week....4 string, alder/buckeye burl, macassar ebony board, mandolin frets, Bart X4s and 18v 3-band preamp w/3-way switchable mids. I've owned 3 other Elricks, and this is the absolute best of the 3. It has a suprising "quickness" to a very light touch, and has a natural low-mid "burp". Very, very nice. I'm also getting my new Nordstrand single cutaway in a few weeks...it's up on the Nordstandguitars.com site. It's the one with spalted chestnut. While I was there this week I also ordered another single cutaway bass. It'll be alder w/a VERY sick quilted top, macassar ebony board, white MOP block inlays, mandolin frets, Bart X4s and a U-Retro preamp. Woo-Hoo!!
By the way, I know this violates Talkbass commandments, but alas, I don't have a digital camera, so you'll have to leave the visual up to your own imagination!!! I know some of you presently have some hand lotion and Kleenex in your hand.....bass pornography!!

    It sounds sexy..

Did you Have Rob custom build it for you?

I really think I would like to get a singlecut Elrick oneday. I love my Elrick 5-string so much, I figured I will definately get another one, but I want it to be different..
