My new hollow body..

    I just ordered my new Jay Turser hollow body. I just have something for cheap basses. Maybe it's the fact that I like the idea of buying a cheap bass, and making it sound good. The pickups will be replaced with TV Jones (Gretsch style) pickups, and I'll upgrade the pots. Anyway, here are some pics :hyper:

    Beautiful bass,congrats man,this morning before to start my job i watch MTV videos and i see a band(i can,t remember the name) using a bass like this and i say..wow what a beauty. :eek:
     
  3. Normally, I'm not a fan of hollowbodies.............but damned if that girl isn't a looker. She's hot man. Congrats

    Hey man, if you don't mind my asking, how much did it set you back?

    Looks very nice. I've been wanting a hollowbody for the band as well...

    Wow that is very cool, did it come with that pickguard?. How does the quality compare with the JT Violin Bass?. All the Best with it :bassist:

    I should get the bass in 11days! I'll give a full review then. As for the pickguard...the bass in the pics is a stock bass. I'll post pics WHen I get the bass, and after I do some hot rodding to it :D

    I'm a huge fan of hollowbody bases.. owning quite a few myself. This one looks sweet..especially for the money. Add some good pups and electronics and it looks like you've got a value for money winner! Let us know how it works out.

    +1 i wonder if you could Hofner pick ups to fit in this bass.

  17. I've been looking at them online, and every one i see doesnt have a pickguard. Are you sure that comes stock?
