This is the most recent that I've built. This one features a flamed redwood top, ash body, figured maple fingerboard, 34" scale, pickups in exact 70's location and completely passive. The bass sounds huge. It has Bartolini's in it right now but I intend to try a set of Nordstrand single coils soon.

We demand audio of it!@ :) Nice wood combos, probably sounds bright and funky, just how I like 'em.

Beautiful! Nice work. BTW, is it vol-vol or vol-tone, or other? Only two controls...elegant!

Thanks for the comments guys. I just wish I had the ability to take better pics. The bass has two volumes with no tone control. I'll try to get some sound clips soon.

That looks amazing. For about a minute I thought that there was two curved holes in the neck because of the guitar stand. It had me wondering ;)

  9. is that a 35" scale or 34" scale?

Scott, those are looking less and less "homemade." Between Narud's tunes and your basses, there are some ill-talented mofo's up inheres!

    +1 Big Up!

Nice and simple..... I dig the extra cut-out on the back for the neck.

Kind of looks like the bastard child of a Lakland and a Warwick....
